Legislative Support Professional

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be bilingual, technologically proficient, and possess exceptional communication and administrative skills to support our legal team in daily operations.
This role involves client interaction, managing payments, preparing and organizing legal documentation, and general office support duties.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
- Organize, prepare, and maintain legal packets and documentation with a high level of accuracy.
- Greet clients warmly and assist with inquiries or appointments.
- Perform general administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and scheduling.
- Ensure legal packets are prepared and organized for attorney use or client distribution.
- Take and process payments accurately and provide clients with receipts as needed.
- Leverage legal technology systems to maintain client records and documentation securely and efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and staff to ensure smooth office operations.
- Support attorneys and staff with other tasks as needed to maintain office efficiency.
The estimated salary for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Bilingual (required) proficiency in English and Spanish.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Technological proficiency, with experience using legal software, case management systems, and basic office tools (e.g., MS Office Suite).
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
