Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team at Hopebridge. As an occupational therapy assistant, you will play a vital role in helping children with autism and other developmental disorders achieve their full potential.

Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this position is $53,000 - $69,000, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including:

Job Responsibilities

As an occupational therapy assistant at Hopebridge, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting individual and group therapy sessions to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Participating in staff meetings and conferences to review progress and collaborate with colleagues
  • Maintaining accurate records of services provided for statistical and billing purposes
  • Providing assistance to staff regarding concerns related to occupational therapy and maintaining open communication with parents
  • Assisting in the development of Individualized Educational Plans (IEPs)
  • Ensuring a safe environment for all patients and staff
  • Contributing to problem-solving efforts to improve efficiency within the center
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must possess:

  • An associate's degree in occupational therapy
  • Certification as a certified occupational therapist assistant (COTA) and registration with the American Occupational Therapy Association
  • Licensure to practice in the applicable state
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
