We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Services team at John Muir Health. As a critical care RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department environment.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to patients receiving conscious sedation, including nerve blocks and cardioversion.
- Triage patients and prioritize care based on acuity and urgency.
- Manage precipitous deliveries and care for mothers and newborns post-delivery.
- Stabilize critically ill patients prior to disposition, including acute stroke, STEMI, sepsis, and respiratory distress.
- Function competently in the flow and resource roles, and assume the role of a relief charge nurse.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- 1 year of experience in acute care nursing.
- 2000 hours of experience in emergency nursing within the last 3 years.
- Current RN licensure in California.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and ENPC certifications.
- Approved Cardiac Rhythm Test and NIHSS certification.
This is a part-time position working 12 hour shifts, with a pay rate of $99.73 per hour. The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care.
