Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Emergency Roadside Service Technician to join our team at AAA Northern California, Nevada & Utah Careers. As a key member of our roadside assistance team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our members by responding to emergency calls, performing vehicle repairs, and ensuring the safety of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive and operate a service vehicle to respond to emergency calls and perform vehicle repairs
  • Interact with customers to establish rapport, build relationships, and provide outstanding customer service
  • Leverage sales skills to offer products and services to members during service interactions
  • Utilize on-board computer, radio communications, and mapping systems to navigate and complete tasks efficiently
  • Complete daily paperwork, including call logs, battery invoices, and cash receipts
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license with a safe driving record
  • Two years of experience in a customer contact role
  • Education and training in automotive repair or a related field (vocational technical automotive training/certification or equivalent experience preferred)
  • Ability to drive a manual/automatic shift vehicle
Work Environment

As a Service Provider, you will work outdoors at vehicle sites, lifting and carrying tires and parts, weighing up to 50 pounds, several times a day. You will also work in all weather and traffic conditions, and may be required to provide a photograph for identification purposes.

Starting rates vary by region, with ranges starting from $20.00 up to $24.50 hourly, with potential to make up to an additional $1,300 per month with quality and productivity incentives.
