Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Service Representative to join our team at Henry Ford Health System. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service to our patients and healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interact with laboratory customers to provide information and resolve problems related to test requests, submission requirements, and result status.
  • Use information systems to gather data and track client encounters.
  • Perform specimen collection as a primary duty, if applicable.
  • Coordinate expedited handling of routine and special test requests, including specimen processing, transportation, and reporting.
Requirements
  • High school graduate.
  • Requires two to three years of clinical laboratory experience with a working knowledge of specimen collection, handling, preparation, and workflow.
