Description:


We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to provide technical support for process development activities and execute technical and/or cross-functional project work.


The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of engineering fundamentals and be able to engineer robust, scalable manufacturing processes. They will also be responsible for translating customer needs into engineering requirements and developing test methods to specify measurement equipment and data analysis.


The successful candidate will have a BS degree in engineering (Mechanical or Biomedical preferred) and 0-2 years of engineering experience in medical devices. They will also have demonstrated ability to utilize statistical tools and computer analysis.


Responsibilities:


  1. Provide technical support for process development activities
  2. Execute technical and/or cross-functional project work
  3. Engineer robust, scalable manufacturing processes
  4. Translate customer needs into engineering requirements
  5. Develop test methods to specify measurement equipment and data analysis
  6. Write detailed technical reports based on process verification analysis/testing
  7. Ensure compliance with BD quality policies, procedures, and practices


Requirements:


  • BS degree in engineering (Mechanical or Biomedical preferred)
  • 0-2 years of engineering experience in medical devices
  • Demonstrated ability to utilize statistical tools and computer analysis
