About the Role

As a CBRE Building Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of building systems, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. You will perform routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting to ensure that all systems are functioning within design capabilities and meet environmental conditions prescribed by clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs to building systems, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostic tests to identify and resolve issues with building systems.
  • Ensure that all systems are functioning within design capabilities and meet environmental conditions prescribed by clients.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure that building machinery and systems meet or exceed their rated life.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure that all building systems are functioning efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school diploma or associate's degree preferred.
  • 4-5 years of job-related experience required; prior shift management or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Universal CFC certification preferred; certifications/licenses as may be required by local or state jurisdictions.
  • Ability to exercise judgment based on analysis of multiple sources of information.
  • Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
  • Sophisticated math skills.
