Job Title: Refrigeration Technician

Wells Enterprises is seeking a skilled Refrigeration Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical problems to equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Mechanical Skills: Apply technical skills and expertise to ensure effective engineering support within the team, focused on delivering performance targets.
  • Electrical Skills: Remove and replace major electrical components and troubleshoot compact electrical circuits safely.
  • Programming/Logic Skills: Test, debug, and maintain program code, implement input/output systems, and manage associated programmable hardware.
  • Leadership: Promote the development of a highly effective team through strong communication and leadership by example.
  • Continuous Improvement: Use performance measures to identify and prioritize losses in production area.
  • Project Management: Achieve desired outcomes of the project in line with agreed plans using appropriate project management tools and techniques.
Qualifications:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A 2-4 year degree in industrial technology or related field is preferred.
  • Must possess a mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration background.
  • Must have the knowledge to diagnose and test equipment, correct malfunctions, and make improvements to all support equipment.
  • Must possess electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration skills.
  • Ability to work in small teams, troubleshoot, and train other members of the mechanical team.
