Job Title: Commercial Refrigeration Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Refrigeration Service Technician to join our team at Tag Refrigeration. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing commercial refrigeration systems, as well as performing minor plumbing repairs and preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and repair commercial refrigeration systems, including self-contained coolers and freezers, single and rack systems
  • Perform minor plumbing repairs on refrigeration equipment, including walk-in drain lines, case drain lines, cooling towers, and water-cooled condensers
  • Inspect plumbing, electrical, and refrigeration systems and identify specifications required
  • Collaborate directly with grocery store managers and store directors
  • Quote equipment repairs and recommend replacement when necessary
  • Maintain proper van stock, tools, and safety equipment on work van
Requirements:
  • 2+ years prior HVAC/R experience
  • Ability to pass a physical/drug screen/background investigation/driving abstract as needed
  • Universal EPA License (bonus points)
  • Electrical License (bonus points)
  • 2-3 years of grocery refrigeration/HVAC experience (bonus points)
  • Related education/certification in HVAC and refrigeration industry (bonus points)
