Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing magnetic resonance assessments and reassessments, implementing patient orders, and preparing patients for exams. You will also assist with transporting patients and explain procedures to patients, addressing their concerns.

Responsibilities
  • Perform magnetic resonance assessments and reassessments, implementing patient orders
  • Position and prepare patients for exams according to the type of procedure to be performed
  • Assist with transporting patients
  • Explain procedures to patients and address their concerns
  • Operate stationary equipment and/or portable equipment used in the Emergency Department, Operating Room, and at the patient bedside
Qualifications
  • Current License as an MRI Tech by ARMRIT or ARRT (MR) required
  • Current Healthcare Provider BLS issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required
  • Must be graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
  • State Registered Radiologic Technician
  • Vocational School Graduate
  • Experience in performing all MRI procedures
  • Two (2) years' experience as an MRI Technologist preferred
