Position: Material Inspection Specialist

Location: Archbald, PA

Compensation: $22.50 per hour

Contract Duration: 12 Months

Work Schedule: 4/10A - 1st Shift, Monday through Thursday, 6am - 4:30pm EST

Position Summary:

The Material Inspection Specialist will be stationed at the Archbald facility, engaging directly on the manufacturing floor.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute manual and administrative tasks related to the reception of materials, supplies, and equipment.
  • Utilize computer systems to input transactions, verify data, and maintain records efficiently.
  • Unpack and inspect received items, ensuring accuracy against shipping documents, invoices, and other pertinent records.
  • Maintain logs of received goods, rejecting any damaged, surplus, or incorrectly directed items while processing the necessary documentation to inform relevant departments.
  • Direct materials to inspection areas, storage, or other designated locations, and operate mobile equipment for material handling.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding the status of rejected or other materials.
Essential Qualifications:
  • At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing inspection environment.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • High School Diploma required; no Bachelor's degree necessary.
  • Proficient in computer usage, as all tasks will be performed digitally.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in inspection using a microscope and with printed circuit boards.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints.
