Overview

Our Law Department serves the Company's lodging and hospitality business, providing legal advice and counsel to internal clients. As a Senior Manager, Contracts and Litigation Specialist, you will provide critical support to hotel managers in the United States and CALA, serving as a key point of contact for legal assistance. Your responsibilities will include negotiating contracts with third-party vendors and resolving guest issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct support to attorneys and assist team members in performing their duties and responsibilities.
  • Respond to inquiries from General Managers and corporate stakeholders related to hotel-level and above-property contracts with vendors and other service providers.
  • Draft and negotiate commercial contracts, including groups sales agreements, crew accommodation agreements, and OTA agreements.
  • Support hotels in registering to bid and accept U.S. government business.
  • Provide entity formation and entity management support.
  • Offer guidance to clients on vendor disputes and guest issues.
  • Conduct and summarize legal research as requested.
  • Draft and respond to legal correspondence and memoranda.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as requested.

Requirements
  • Two-year college degree
  • 4+ years of relevant work experience
  • Paralegal Certificate preferred but not required
  • Hospitality experience required
  • Spanish speaking skills is a plus
  • Strong project management skills, and ability to meet simultaneous deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact and communicate effectively
  • Ability to present ideas and information in a clear, concise manner in both writing and verbally
  • Strong attention to detail

  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Familiarity with database functionality and operation
