Job Summary

Soleo Health is seeking a highly skilled Senior Counsel, Employment and Litigation to join our team. As a key member of our Legal Department, you will provide expert legal advice and guidance on employment-related matters, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic legal advice on employment issues, including hiring, performance management, employee relations, terminations, leaves of absence, and accommodations.
  • Collaborate with the Legal team to manage pre-litigation and litigation matters, including drafting and reviewing employment-related contracts, agreements, and policies.
  • Develop and implement policies and practices to mitigate legal risks and support compliance with applicable laws.
  • Investigate, negotiate, and resolve pre-litigation claims and administrative charges, and serve as a subject matter expert for employment litigation matters.
  • Collaborate with outside counsel to advise Human Resources and management on employment issues.
  • Manage employment-related litigation, including responding to attorney demand letters and negotiating resolution of claims.
Requirements
  • JD degree from an accredited law school.
  • Bar admission in the US.
  • Minimum 5-7 years' experience in employment and benefits law.
  • Litigation experience preferred.
  • Healthcare experience preferred.
