About the Role

Aon is seeking a highly skilled International Tax Manager to join our team. As a key player in our finance organization, you will contribute to crucial processes in tax and be a major contributor to the tax function.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and review of all U.S. international tax calculations, tax forms, and provision for income tax.
  • Help identify U.S. international tax planning opportunities, process improvements, and make recommendations.
  • Review all required US tax compliance forms and filings for foreign entities.
  • Assist with the foreign tax credit calculations, including 861-expense allocation process and Form 1118.
  • Responsible for calculation of Section 986(c), 987, and 988 impacts.
  • Provide analytical and data support for tax planning team.
  • Research and interpret current and emerging tax regulations.
  • Assist in the preparation of tax controversy matters.
  • Drive process improvements to achieve operational efficiencies.
  • Maintain and update U.S. International compliance structure in Corptax.
  • Coach and mentor tax analysts and senior analysts.
Requirements
  • BS Degree in Finance or Accounting required.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive related experience, preferably from a Big 4 firm in combination with a background in Industry.
  • Demonstrated understanding of ASC 740 at a complex level for a global organization.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship skills and the ability to communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization both written and oral.
  • Excellent data and analytical skills.
  • Strong time management and organization skills with the ability to handle multiple projects.
  • Proven ability to work in a collaborative and cross-functional organization.
  • Self-starter with strong work ethic and a passion for a challenging environment.
  • Able to handle multiple assignments and manage competing priorities with tight deadlines.
  • CPA a plus.
  • Knowledge of Corptax required.
