The Logistics Support Specialist will operate within a structured environment of established regulations, policies, and procedures related to property management.

Key Responsibilities

+ Collaborates with various operational officials to address specific program requirements of the organization.

+ Reviews and updates unit material condition status reports; records transactions in the organizational and Installation Property Books along with supporting documentation.

+ Processes all incoming supply transactions and posts them as necessary.

+ Generates hand receipts, ad hoc reports, and other accountability documents as required.

+ Conducts quality assurance and quality control checks during data entry from source documents.

+ Ensures asset visibility and provides hand receipt holders with accurate documentation.

+ Accurately catalogs all property prior to approval for entry into the Property Book using GCSS-Army and the SSN-LIN Automated Management & Integrating System (SLAMIS).

+ Manages warehouse operations, including responsibility for Class II, IV, VII, and VIII expendable, nonexpendable, and durable property for the CIPBO and its clients, while processing transactions that impact property book records.

+ Oversees limited management and operation of the CIPBO accountable records utilizing the GCSS-A Property Book module.

+ Conducts inventory, receipt, and processing documentation; maintains turn-in records; and manages warehousing actions, updating files of relevant forms and appointment orders.

+ Acts as the Army Network Stations (ANS) Department of Activity Address Code (DODAAC) coordinator for supported units.

+ Receives requests from customers to create, modify, or remove DODAACs.

+ Verifies the accuracy of submitted data and coordinates with LOGSA on changes to DSS designations.

+ Informs the unit upon completion of transactions confirmed by LOGSA.

+ Requests new, modified, or deleted RICs as necessary through LOGSA.

+ Performs additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

+ High School diploma or equivalent.

+ At least one (1) year of civilian or military experience in property administration.

+ Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

+ Ability to successfully pass a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) for computer access.

+ Functional understanding of computer systems and the Department of the Army Unit Supply System (Manual Procedures).

+ Experience with GCSS-Army Property Book is preferred.

+ Military Occupational Specialty 92Y is preferred.
