About the Job:
">We are seeking a highly motivated and caring Direct Support Professional to join our team at Open Systems Healthcare, Inc. As a DSP, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes and community settings.
">Main Responsibilities:

- Provide personalized support services that cater to individual needs and preferences.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with individuals, families, and support team members.
- Assist with daily living activities, such as personal care, transportation, and household chores.
- Support individuals in acquiring and maintaining skills, promoting independence and self-advocacy.
- Address challenging behaviors and crises with sensitivity and professionalism, documenting progress and observations accurately.
Qualifications:

- Age 18 or older.
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent education from a foreign country.
- Active CPR and First Aid certification renewed every two years.
- Successful completion of orientation and DSP training program with a score of 80% or greater.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English through reading, writing, and speaking, with reasonable accommodations as needed.
Salary Range: $35,000 - $45,000 per year.
