Active Directory Specialist Job Description

Compunnel Inc. is seeking an experienced Active Directory Specialist to lead the integration of our acquired company's AD infrastructure into our parent company's environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • AD Migration and Consolidation: Design and implement strategies for migrating and consolidating AD infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration and compatibility with existing IT systems.
  • Infrastructure Assessment: Conduct a thorough assessment of the acquired company's AD infrastructure, identifying potential risks, security vulnerabilities, and opportunities for optimization during the integration process.
  • Security Compliance: Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance with both companies' security policies, including identity and access management (IAM) best practices, user provisioning, and auditing mechanisms.
  • Migration Roadmap: Develop and execute a detailed migration roadmap, including the creation of rollback plans, post-migration validation, and decommissioning processes for legacy systems once integration is complete.
  • Training and Support: Provide expert-level guidance and training to internal IT teams on Active Directory architecture, including troubleshooting, performance tuning, and long-term management post-integration.
