Mold Setter

Job Summary:

As a Mold Setter at Berry Global, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our injection molding machines. Your primary responsibility will be to install and remove molds, plates, and equipment necessary for these machines. You will also perform tip burns to improve color changeover and follow all safety rules and procedures. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working area in all Mold Setter areas and adhering to all Company and Departmental procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and remove molds, plates, and equipment necessary for injection molding machines.
• Perform tip burns to improve color changeover.
• Follow all safety rules and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe working area in all Mold Setter areas.
• Adhere to all Company and Departmental procedures.

Requirements:

• Working knowledge of ISO, GMPs, SQF.
• Ability to substitute for Molding Inspector.
• Handle/ Rework person & Utility person.
• Forklift and Crane Operation.
• Lifting weights up to 50 pounds: capable of pushing/ pulling up to 1500 pounds assisted with mechanical apparatus.
