Role Description: Arcadis is seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our Climate Adaptation and Water Management Team based in San Francisco, CA.

Our Climate Adaptation practice focuses on delivering innovative and transformative solutions to address the challenges posed by climate change and coastal hazards while improving quality of life. We work on a diverse range of projects that include designing sustainable stormwater management systems, enhancing flood defenses, and developing adaptive strategies for coastal and inland communities and waterways.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead structural analysis, design, and construction efforts for climate adaptation projects, including seismic risk reduction, flood mitigation, and infrastructure resilience initiatives.
  • Serve as a project manager and technical lead for a diverse range of projects, overseeing design development, evaluation of solutions, and construction implementation.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative and sustainable structural solutions aligned with industry codes and standards.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and deliverables to ensure successful project completion within established timelines.
  • Travel, as needed, for project-related activities (i.e., client meetings, site visits).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or a related discipline.
  • 10 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Structural Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Professional Engineer license in California.
  • Structural Engineer license in California.
  • Proficiency in structural analysis and design software such as STAAD, MathCAD, AutoCAD, and Revit.
  • Progressive experience in structural engineering, with a focus on infrastructure projects related to water management, flood control, and seismic resilience.

The salary range for this position is $97,600 - $168,360. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project, and location.
