Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team. As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform housekeeping and cleaning duties, including dusting, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces and equipment.
  • Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including sinks, tubs, floors, and commodes.
  • Daily cleaning and sanitizing of patient room furniture, sitting rooms, and dining room furniture.
  • Removal and disposal of trash and recyclables.
  • Utilize protective gear and follow safety protocols to prevent injury and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Respond to paging system and complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Provide excellent customer service and interact positively with residents, staff, and facility guests.
Requirements
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and ability to follow instructions and perform routine tasks.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to work around food and cleaning products.
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies, as required by state, local, and/or customers.
