Job Title: Care Partner

At Wickshire Senior Living Group, we are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Partner to join our team. As a Care Partner, you will play a vital role in providing warm and engaging personal care services, assistance, support, and companionship to our residents.

Job Summary:

The Care Partner will be responsible for assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as feeding, bathing, dressing, toileting, hygiene, and mobility, as directed by their individual service plans. You will also monitor changes in residents' functional status and personal care needs, documenting observations and advising supervisors and/or clinical staff as appropriate.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including feeding, bathing, dressing, toileting, hygiene, and mobility.
  • Monitor changes in residents' functional status and personal care needs, documenting observations and advising supervisors and/or clinical staff as appropriate.
  • Assist in the development and updating of Resident Care Plans.
  • Encourage resident participation in scheduled programs and activities.
  • Conduct one-on-one or small group activities as assigned by supervisor in conjunction with the Wise & Well Program Director.
  • Assist with laundry and light housekeeping tasks as needed.
  • Assist with serving meals and bussing tables as needed.
  • Chaperone activities outside the community as needed.
  • Monitor the community and take appropriate action to keep the environment safe, clean, and attractive for residents, guests, and co-workers.
  • Participate in and attend all in-service training and education programs as scheduled.
  • Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and local regulations and Wickshire Senior Living Group's mission policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Maintain appropriate degree of confidentiality.
Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Previous resident care experience preferred.
  • Maintain state licensing requirements, where applicable.
Knowledge and Skills:

You will need to possess:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to connect and communicate effectively, in English, with diverse populations.
  • Excellent written communication skills, including proper grammar and professional writing.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong customer orientation to older adults.
