About the Role

The Sr HR Coordinator is an entry-level leader that supports the human resources department by assisting with various administrative tasks and processes. This role will collaborate with the HR team to ensure the smooth execution of HR operations and contribute to fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • HR Support: Assist HR function by coordinating and supporting HR processes and programs.
  • Administrative Services: Supports defined functional areas within HR in all areas of administrative services and special projects as needed.
  • Research and Reporting: Research confidential employee data and runs reports as needed.
  • Financial Management: Codes invoices and processes for payment as required for defined areas of support. Research questionable invoices as necessary.
  • Communication and Organization: Provides basic administrative support, i.e., maintaining calendars, scheduling meetings, arranging travel, auditing expense reports, ordering supplies/catering, answering phones, opening & distributing mail, drafting communications and presentations, etc.
  • Document Control: Maintains document control of forms, policies, and procedures.
  • Event Planning: Plan and coordinate HR related events.
  • Facility Management: Maintain facility organization charts and employee directory.
  • Payroll and Timekeeping: Review payroll/timekeeping processes.
  • Record Keeping: Process forms and maintain records, including paper and electronic HR files, unemployment claims, employee service rewards, and other documents.
  • System Support: Provide first line of support for HR systems and processes.
  • Policy Guidance: Answer or refer employees to available resources for HR policy-related questions.
  • Unemployment Claims: Receive, distribute, and complete Department of Labor unemployment-related documents.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other duties as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Experience: 0-2 years of relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
