Job Summary:

Charter School Associates is seeking a qualified Substitute Teacher to provide instruction and support to students in a classroom setting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Upon arrival, report to the building principal or school office manager and review plans and schedules for the teaching day.
  • Maintain established routines and procedures of the school and classroom, and teach lessons outlined in the Substitute Teacher's guide.
  • Oversee pupil behavior in class and during lunch and recess periods, and report on the day's activities in writing at the conclusion of each teaching day.
  • Follow all policies, rules, and procedures applicable to teachers, and adhere to good teaching practices.

Qualifications:

  • Must have 60 hours of secondary education.
  • Substitute Certification is preferred.
