Main Responsibilities

As a Technical Training Instructor at Ring Power, you will be responsible for delivering instructor-led courses to Ring Power employees and customers. You will also develop and update training materials on technical and industry-specific subject matter.

Key Duties
  • Deliver high-quality training sessions to ensure participants gain the necessary knowledge and skills.
  • Develop and maintain training materials, including presentations, handouts, and assessments.
  • Ensure a safe and effective learning environment, including the maintenance of classroom and lab equipment.
  • Travel regionally to deliver training sessions and attend conferences.
  • Update and maintain training records for Ring Power participants and customers.
  • Assist field personnel with diagnostic issues and provide technical support as needed.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • 5-6 years of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to comprehend written material and communicate effectively with employees and customers.
  • Computer skills, including Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Windows-based operating systems.
Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Professional licensing in a related field.
  • Certification in a related field.
  • Applicable manufacturer factory training, technical training, or knowledge of NGEA, Tier 4 emissions, or air conditioning certification.
Working Environment

This role involves occasional exposure to stress, workload fluctuations, and the need to work outside of regular business hours. You will be working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on customer satisfaction.

Physical Demands

This role requires occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, sitting, walking, feeling, fingering, grasping, and repetitive motion. You will also be required to push, pull, and lift up to 25 pounds, and occasionally push, pull, and lift over 50 pounds.

Environmental Conditions

You will be working in an indoor environment with occasional exposure to outside environmental conditions, extreme cold, extreme heat, noise, vibration, hazards, and atmospheric conditions.
