Operations Supervisor

The Operations Supervisor is tasked with overseeing the daily functions of their designated location. This role operates under the guidance of the Program Coordinator to maintain the highest quality of service for all individuals receiving support. The Operations Supervisor reports directly to the Program Coordinator.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize and prepare shifts through effective communication, utilizing shift-planning documents and providing regular updates to the Floating Supervisor.
- Ensure program scheduling is maintained and that staffing levels are sufficient at all times.
- Oversee substance inventory, medication procurement, documentation, and verification processes.
- Manage financial transactions, including petty cash and check requests, under the supervision of the Program Coordinator.
- Collaborate with the Program Coordinator to recruit, onboard, and train new staff members.
- Track daily activities related to medications, Individual Support Plan (ISP) goals, behavioral monitoring, and mobility exercises.
- Guarantee that all medical appointments, therapy sessions, visiting nurse engagements, and community activities are fulfilled.
- Exemplify positive participant interaction and advocacy while balancing direct support with opportunities for autonomy.
- Report all maintenance concerns to the Program Coordinator as necessary.
- Timely communication and reporting of all issues, concerns, or incidents to the Program Coordinator.
- Complete required written documentation related to specific incidents within mandated timeframes.
- Foster a safe working environment by identifying and addressing potential safety hazards, reporting all employee incidents to Human Resources and participant incidents to supervisory staff, while adhering to established safety policies.
- Consistently attend and engage in team meetings, supervision sessions, and other scheduled gatherings. Participate in agency-required training and maintain necessary certifications. Seek additional training opportunities to enhance job knowledge and professional development.
- Work collaboratively with the team towards the shared vision of Community Based Flexible Supports. Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and organizational abilities to meet the goals of participants and the program.
