Job Title: Client Construction Coordinator

ACT Consulting, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Client Construction Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of personnel, communicating with project groups, and coordinating work activities between the plant operator and contractor.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the safety of personnel by taking direct preventive measures and participating in weekly safety meetings
  • Communicate safety deficiencies directly to the contractor
  • Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications, identifying discrepancies or conflicts
  • Conduct and document observations of construction as it progresses
  • Communicate with project groups concerning all aspects of construction
  • Coordinate work activities between the plant operator and contractor
  • Ensure work is performed in accordance with Company standards and work methods
  • Monitor current and future activities to ensure plans and schedules maximize productivity, control costs, and meet quality requirements
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline, plus five years of supervising construction experience
  • OR Associate's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline, plus seven years of supervising construction experience
  • OR Minimum of ten years of relevant experience in a supervisory position on a multidisciplinary, technical project within the industrial, power, utility, gas, or oil industries
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Massachusetts Driver's License
  • Construction Supervisor's License
  • Journeyman's Pipefitters License
  • Journeyman's Electrical License
