Job Summary:
Capital Health Plan seeks a Healthcare Service Coordinator to serve as the initial point of contact for members seeking medical care. This role requires excellent communication skills, as the coordinator will answer phones, enter information into the Electronic Health Record (EHR), and manage appointment schedules.
Responsibilities:
- Manage appointment schedules and collect fees
- Enter information into the Electronic Health Record (EHR)
- Assist with patient flow through the department
- Perform clerical and administrative support services
- Enroll patients in electronic messaging like the Patient Portal
Requirements:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds
- Prior medical office experience and working knowledge of medical terminology a plus
Compensation:
$40,000 - $50,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Work Location:
This role may be based in Tallahassee or another Capital Health Plan location.
