Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and Maintain Strong Customer Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and current customers to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Introduce New Products and Services: Introduce new products or services to local trucking, coach, delivery, emergency, and construction fleets to increase revenue and market share.
  • Develop Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain a working knowledge of products and services offered to effectively communicate with customers and identify new business opportunities.
  • Identify New Business Opportunities: Actively seek and identify new customers through cold calling in the assigned territory to expand our customer base.
  • Manage Customer Contact Information: Maintain customer contact information and communications utilizing our company's CRM system.
  • Analyze Customer Needs: Analyze customer needs and determine how our company's products and services can best be utilized to meet their needs.
  • Prioritize and Organize Sales Call Activities: Prioritize and organize sales call activities to ensure effective use of time and resources.
  • Review Sales Activities: Review sales activities, opportunities, and objectives with internal departments to ensure alignment and goal achievement.
  • Timely Completion of Daily Customer Visit Logs: Timely completion and submission of daily customer visit logs to ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Assist with Customer Parts Returns and Warranty Support: Assist with customer parts returns, warranty support, service issues, and disputes as needed to ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
  • Valid Driver's License and Clean Driving Record: Possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Working Knowledge of Trucks and Diesel Engines: Have a working knowledge of trucks, diesel engines, HD transmission, and driveline.
  • Good Customer Service and Communication Skills: Possess good customer service, communication, telephone, and organizational skills.
  • Self-Motivated and Dependable: Be a self-motivated and dependable individual with the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to Build Relationships: Have the ability to effectively build relationships with customers and co-workers.
Education and Experience
  • High School Graduate or GED: Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in Heavy-Duty Truck Parts or Service Industry: Have experience in the heavy-duty truck parts or service industry, but it is not required. We are willing to train the right individual.
Computer Skills

Possess proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and prior experience with Salesforce is a plus.

Other Requirements

Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by the position, location, and/or customer.
