We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Test Engineer to join our team at PDS Defense. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for executing test scripts for the verification of software, hardware, and system requirements for applications in space.

Responsibilities:
  • Execute test scripts for the verification of software, hardware, and system requirements for applications in space.
  • Understand and work with RF (Radio Frequency) systems, especially RADAR, SIGINT, or COMMS.
  • Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure test plans are aligned with project requirements.
  • Identify and report test defects and work with development teams to resolve issues.
Requirements:
  • BS in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with RADAR and/or ESA (Electronically Scanned Array) integration and test.
  • Experience with Space Payload or Space Vehicle (Satellite) integration and test in a clean room environment.
  • Programming skills in C or MATLAB for understanding and editing/improving existing code.
  • Scripting skills in Python or Tcl for understanding and editing/improving existing scripts.
  • Experience with Confluence, Jira, and Bitbucket.
  • Top Secret/SCI clearance for unescorted work.
