Position Overview:
As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care and ensuring a positive experience for participants in our clinical research studies.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring patients have a pleasant, positive, and comfortable experience at our facility.
- Delivering excellent care and creating a great experience for our patients in clinical research studies.
- Acting as the unblinded resource in double-blind, placebo-controlled studies.
- Administering investigational products accurately and responsibly.
- Conducting patient charting efficiently and reviewing your work for accuracy and quality.
- Collecting general data during patient visits, including questionnaires and entering data into various online systems.
- Communicating effectively with the study team regarding charting and patient data.
Essential Qualifications:
- Required: Valid LPN license.
- Required: 1-2 years of professional experience in a healthcare environment.
- Required: Experience and comfort with administering intramuscular (IM) injections.
- Required: Immediate availability for start date.
- Required: Experience with detailed documentation or independent patient charting.
- Preferred: Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Preferred: Experience in direct patient care.
- Preferred: Pediatric healthcare experience.
Clinical research experience is not mandatory but is a plus. We value a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and an enjoyment of a fast-paced work environment.
