Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the lifecycle of Crown's telephony hardware and software, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • Design and implement changes to leverage features and technologies available in hardware or software to meet business needs, reduce costs, or improve reliability, performance, or efficiencies.
  • Maintain a disaster recovery environment that meets corporate requirements, ensuring business continuity and minimal downtime.
  • Establish and enforce standardization of telephony system programming, promoting consistency and best practices.
  • Develop call flow solutions for departments, streamlining communication and improving productivity.
  • Proactively monitor systems and processes to maintain availability and proper sizing of services among Crown's telephony systems.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, contractors, carriers, and LECs to ensure reliable operations of systems, interfaces, components, and product support for telephone equipment.
  • Generate reports to assist in capacity planning, utilization tracking, system administration, and individual user activity throughout the telephony environment.
  • Stay up-to-date with current telephony technology to fully utilize current systems and implement new business needs.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in information systems or a related field, along with four years of experience in telecommunications systems, is required.
