Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled HVAC Technician to join our team at J&J Worldwide Services. As a Journeyman HVAC Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial and industrial HVAC systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial HVAC equipment and associated components, including chillers, air handlers, cooling towers, and more.
  • Replace pump seals, motor bearings, air filters, belts, and other components as needed.
  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Must hold a Maryland HVAC Journeyman License.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.
  • Universal CFC Certification.
  • Medical Gas Certification preferred.
  • OSHA 10 preferred.
Work Environment
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs., squat, bend, stoop, and kneel for short periods, climb a ladder, stand for long periods of time, and perform constant arm extensions.
  • Occasional exposure to elements such as heat, cold, noise, dust, dirt, chemicals, but none to the point of being disagreeable.
