We are seeking a skilled Dialysis Technician to join our team at Intermountain Health. As a Dialysis Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dialysis services.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare patients for treatment, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the process.
- Initiate, monitor, and terminate dialytic therapy, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
- Recognize and respond to patient complications, notifying healthcare professionals as needed.
- Document patient care and treatment outcomes accurately and thoroughly.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices in dialysis care.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers.
- Minimum of 18 months of experience in dialysis care, with a focus on patient safety and well-being.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient-centered care.
