Job Title: Program Support Technician

This is a wage position responsible for the administration of the district's urine screen program, DNA collection, and live-scan fingerprinting activities.

Job Duties:
  • Administer the urine screen program, including collection and submittal of DNA samples from offenders on supervision.
  • Collect and submittal of live-scan fingerprints and other surveillance activities.
  • Conduct effective surveillance activities, conduct interviews, and gather pertinent information from various sources.
  • Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, and accurately assess situations.
  • Work independently, prioritize assignments, and use computers, including Microsoft software applications.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Some knowledge of principles, practices, and techniques of case management and community resources.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct effective surveillance activities, conduct interviews, and gather pertinent information.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, and accurately assess situations.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced knowledge in related field.
  • Experience in corrections or community supervision.
