This is a wage position responsible for the administration of the district's urine screen program, DNA collection, and live-scan fingerprinting activities.
Job Duties:- Administer the urine screen program, including collection and submittal of DNA samples from offenders on supervision.
- Collect and submittal of live-scan fingerprints and other surveillance activities.
- Conduct effective surveillance activities, conduct interviews, and gather pertinent information from various sources.
- Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, and accurately assess situations.
- Work independently, prioritize assignments, and use computers, including Microsoft software applications.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license.
- Some knowledge of principles, practices, and techniques of case management and community resources.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct effective surveillance activities, conduct interviews, and gather pertinent information.
- Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, and accurately assess situations.
- Advanced knowledge in related field.
- Experience in corrections or community supervision.
