Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Breast Medical Oncologist to join our team at the Assistant level. As an Academic Member in the Moffitt Cancer Center Don and Erika Wallace Comprehensive Breast Program, you will be responsible for all aspects of patient care, including evaluation, management, and treatment of patients. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient care delivery and engage in clinical or translational research.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and manage patients with breast cancer, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, including chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and surgery
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Participate in clinical or translational research, including the development of new treatments and therapies
  • Contribute to the education and training of medical students, residents, and fellows
Requirements
  • MD or equivalent degree
  • Board certification or eligibility in Hematology/Oncology
  • Successful completion of an approved Fellowship in Hematology/Oncology
  • Florida medical license
  • DEA license
  • ACLS certification
