Job Summary

The Research Assistant will work with a preceptor to learn the regulations, guidelines, and institutional policies that govern the proper conduct of research at National Jewish Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality data entry and extraction, assisting with data analysis, and other aspects of epidemiologic research.

Key Responsibilities

  • Learns and applies clinical research guidelines, including Good Clinical Practice, HIPAA regulations, and applicable NJH policies and procedures.
  • Performs high-quality data entry and extraction to build a study dataset from electronic medical records and extracted test reports.
  • Learns and performs study-related data analysis as appropriate.
  • Compiles and reviews relevant literature as needed to complete the study scope of work.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree required
  • Work Experience: Epidemiologic research experience preferred
  • Special Training, Certification or Licensure: CITI training required within one month of hire

Salary Range: $18.29 - $21.50
