Advanced Orthopedic Physical Therapist

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Advanced Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team at Kaiser Permanente in Harbor City, California.
Job SummaryAs a Clinic Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for designing treatment programs and acting as a resource and mentor to students and staff in your area of clinical specialty. You will provide direct patient care and educational opportunities for staff and students both internally and throughout the region.
Responsibilities- Design physical therapy treatment programs in the specialty area that are medically prescribed in a manner that is competent and efficient.
- Provide in-service education programs and instruction to staff and students with their medical center and for other Kaiser Permanente Medical Centers.
- Act as a resource and mentor to students and department staff in areas of clinical expertise.
- Routinely obtain accurate and complete history through clinical observation and interaction with the patient.
- Demonstrate professional competence in assessing patients condition at the onset and through all phases of the physical therapy program.
- Graduate of an approved school of Physical Therapy (BS, MS, DPT or PhD).
- Completion of a minimum of 200 hours of approved physical therapy continuation education.
- APTA approved Clinical Specialist Certification (OCS,NCS, etc.) or completion and certification from a one year specialized educational program.
- Physical Therapist License (California) required at hire OR Physical Therapist License - Applicant (California) required at hire.
- Minimum two (2) years experience unless they have completed an APTA credentialed residency or fellowship program.
The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
