We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our dynamic team in an outpatient orthopedic clinic environment. This opportunity offers a chance to work alongside Certified Manual Therapists/Orthopedic Clinical Specialists, providing a collaborative and supportive learning experience.
Competitive CompensationThe salary for this position is $65,000 per year, reflecting the skills and expertise required for this role. Our compensation package includes competitive pay, opportunities for professional growth, and a comprehensive benefits program.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting patients in their recovery and improving their quality of life. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Assisting licensed physical therapists in the delivery of patient care services
- Providing manual therapy techniques and exercise-based interventions to promote patient mobility and function
- Maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:
- A graduate degree from a Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program
- At least one year of experience in an outpatient orthopedic clinic setting, preferably with exercise and manual based skills and sports rehab experience
- Current state license and CPR certification
- Excellent patient care and communication skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently
