At Stamford Health, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Non-invasive Cardiology department as an Advanced Cardiac Care Coordinator.

About the Role

This is a per diem position with a minimum required commitment of 2 shifts per month. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of inpatient cardiology experience and be proficient in monitoring and patient assessment, particularly in non-invasive cardiology settings.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Department in providing high-quality care to patients undergoing non-invasive cardiac testing, including Cardioversion, Trans Esophageal ECHO, and Stress Testing.
  • C coordinate schedules with cardiology, anesthesia, and various specialties for both inpatient and outpatient populations.
  • Provide support to non-RN personnel and ensure seamless care delivery.
Qualifications
  • Current Connecticut RN License.
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification.
  • Minimum 2 years of inpatient cardiology experience.
  • Knowledge of nursing theories, practices, and standards of care, as well as overall knowledge of cardiology principles.
  • Proficient in rhythm strip interpretation and arrhythmia detection, with ability to intervene in emergency situations.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include opportunities for professional growth and development within a leading healthcare organization.
