Responsibilities - Sales Consultant:
  • Welcome customers warmly and assess their needs to align them with suitable vehicles from our inventory.
  • Accompany customers on test drives, showcasing vehicle features and technology, while explaining available options.
  • Establish rapport with customers to create a network of referrals.
  • Stay informed about new products, features, and accessories, and their advantages for customers.
  • Learn to navigate objections and excel in sales scenarios.
  • Utilize internet, phone, and personal leads to convert inquiries into sales.
  • Report directly to the Sales Manager regarding goals and innovative ideas while introducing them to customers.
  • Employ dealership sales control and follow-up systems.
  • Finalize sales and complete all necessary documentation.
  • Prepare sold vehicles for customer delivery and ensure customers understand their vehicle's features, warranty, and paperwork.
  • Introduce customers to service department staff to highlight the quality and efficiency of our service offerings.
  • Maintain a prospect development system and customer satisfaction score in line with corporate standards.
Qualifications - Sales Consultant:
  • A minimum of SIX (6) months of customer-facing sales or customer service experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidates.
  • Experience in outside sales is a plus, but not essential.
  • Comfortable working with customers from diverse income levels.
  • Participate in product and sales training sessions as directed by the Sales Manager.
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Integrity, Commitment, Determination, and a strong desire to succeed.
  • Familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations governing retail automobile sales.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Professional appearance.
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the USA.
  • Applicants must successfully complete pre-employment screenings, including background checks and drug tests.
