Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Paralegal - Case Manager to join our team in Charlotte, NC. As a key member of our team, you will assist our attorneys and legal support staff in managing personal injury cases.

Responsibilities
  • Communicate effectively with attorneys, clients, insurance adjusters, and other professionals to discuss assigned cases or projects.
  • Drive tasks to completion and maintain key performance indicators.
  • Update lien and balance information in assigned files and communicate with insurance and health adjusters.
  • Verify client insurance coverage and request and review client documents.
  • Understand subrogation and rule 414 payment/adjustments to review liens and balance sheets for accuracy.
  • Provide timely updates to clients regarding case progress and treatment.
  • Manage file count and file rotation within the team and provide consistent support and timely resolution of file issues.
Requirements
  • High school or equivalent required
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in legal case management in personal injury
  • Paralegal Certificate preferred
  • Needles/Neos case management software experience preferred
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and motivation to quickly and efficiently move tasks to completion
  • Ability to effectively communicate and thorough understanding of legal language and principles
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Passion for customer service and serving the needs of our clients
What We Offer
  • Annual base salary estimated to be $45,000 - $60,000 depending on qualifications and experience
