Position Overview

As an Expeditor, you will be essential in enhancing our guests' dining experiences by ensuring the efficient and accurate delivery of food orders from the kitchen to the dining area. Your role will involve:

  • Facilitating Communication: Act as the crucial link between the front of house and back of house teams by clearly communicating orders, checking on dish statuses, and notifying servers when meals are ready to be served.
  • Order Accuracy: Ensure that all food orders are completed correctly and promptly, prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • Finishing Touches: Add final garnishes and ensure dishes are presented beautifully before they reach the guests.
  • Guest Interaction: Assist servers and bartenders while engaging with guests to enhance their dining experience, taking additional orders and delivering items as requested.
  • Quality Service: Maintain a high standard of service by checking in with guests to ensure their satisfaction with their meals and beverages.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Operate and maintain all restaurant equipment, ensuring cleanliness and proper functioning.
  • Organizational Standards: Keep the expediting area and dining outlets tidy, organized, and well-stocked at all times.
  • Food Safety Compliance: Serve food in accordance with safety standards, ensuring proper temperatures are maintained.
  • Guest Follow-Up: Engage with guests upon delivery of their dishes to confirm they have everything they need.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in customer service or a similar role within a luxury environment is preferred.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.
  • Proficient communication skills in English.

Compensation: $17.51/hr
