We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Automotive Parts Assistant at C&L Autobody LLC.
Responsibilities:- Manage and maintain accurate inventory levels of parts for all vehicles on site and scheduled for future use.
- Return or exchange defective, damaged, or unnecessary parts, and complete necessary documentation.
- Coordinate with management to ensure timely delivery of parts and maintain efficient delivery cycle times.
- Contribute to a positive and healthy work environment by working effectively with colleagues and understanding the importance of the parts department in a collision repair shop.
- Manage inventory of materials, including hardware, sandpaper, tape, and other supplies, ensuring they are ordered and received through the parts department.
- Document all files and notes related to phone calls, jobs, and relevant information for the team.
- Assist with various tasks as instructed by the shop manager, including taking cars to sublet vendors, picking up or dropping off customers, and cleaning the shop.
- Management experience is a plus.
- Mandatory product knowledge, customer service skills, and organizational skills are required.
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- A valid driver's license is required.
$18 - $23 hourly
