Senior Tax Accountant - Indirect Taxes Opportunity

Toshiba America Business Solutions, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Accountant - Indirect Taxes to join our team at our Lake Forest, CA headquarters. As a key member of our corporate income tax function, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance and preparation of monthly sales and use tax filings, as well as property tax filings.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the compliance and preparation of monthly sales and use tax filings, including collaboration with external providers for timely preparation and filing of sales and use tax returns.
  • Manage and process sales and use tax payments, as well as analyze and prepare monthly sales and use tax account reconciliations.
  • Support the compliance and preparation of property tax filings, including collaboration with external partners for timely preparation and filing of property tax returns.
  • Manage and process property tax payments, as well as review and analyze property tax account reconciliations.
  • Support other indirect compliance functions and return preparations, including research and communication of indirect tax issues to management.
  • Assist with state indirect tax audits and inquiries from state agencies, as well as other tax projects and assignments as required.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree with emphasis in Accounting or Tax.
  • 5+ years of Corporate sales and use/property tax experience.
  • Strong Knowledge of multi-state sales and use/indirect tax compliance.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and detail-oriented.
  • Strong organizational skills for managing deadlines and multiple tasks.
  • Flexible, resourceful, and able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
