We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at the Good Samaritan Society. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality nursing care to our residents in a long-term care setting.
Responsibilities- Provide professional nursing care to residents of all ages in long-term care, under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician.
- Assess residents' physical and psychosocial needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, and provide education to residents and their families.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered, and document resident interactions and outcomes.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery and maintain effective working relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
- Counsel residents, family members, and/or resident advocates on prevention and treatment plans, and develop self-care programs.
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred.
- Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges.
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications.
- A competitive salary range of $27.00 - $48.00 per hour.
