Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

Amentum is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to support a facilities infrastructure program for a mission-critical customer. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with analysis and modernization of new and existing mechanical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Gather and review EMCS information to generate building loads and validate field measurements.
  • Install and maintain temporary metering at facilities and gather details to determine facility capacities and concerns.
  • Coordinate and schedule surveys, inspections, and walkthroughs of existing mechanical systems.
  • Responsible for all aspects of mechanical baseline and capacity reports at 50 DOD facilities.
  • Provide current and historical mechanical infrastructure knowledge to client engineers and construction teams.
  • Analyze and provide client feedback regarding the operation and condition of mechanical chilled water plants and infrastructure equipment.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field, and at least 5 years of mechanical engineering experience.
  • Must maintain a valid state driver's license.
  • Position may require occasional travel.
  • Must have an Active Top Secret US Government Clearance with SCI eligibility and polygraph.
