Job Responsibilities:
- Teach nursing courses to students at various levels, including associate degree and certificate programs
- Develop and implement curriculum that meets the needs of students and the healthcare industry
- Provide academic advising and support services to students, including mentorship and career guidance
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to promote student success and well-being
- Stay current with industry developments and best practices in nursing education
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required; Master's Degree preferred
- Current and unencumbered license to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Texas
- At least 2 years of direct care experience in nursing
- Previous post-secondary teaching experience desirable
Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, based on education level and experience.
