Key Responsibilities:
- Perform patient access functions in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies such as HIPAA, CMS, TJC, AOA, and EMTALA.
- Provide exceptional customer service skills to patients and visitors.
- Manage patient registration, scheduling, and billing processes.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Proficient typing skills and computer experience.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and past experience in a healthcare environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
