We are seeking an experienced Perioperative Nurse to join our team at North Austin Surgery Center, a leading provider of healthcare services. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced ambulatory surgery environment.

Job Summary

The PreOp PACU Nurse PRN will work collaboratively with our medical staff to ensure seamless patient care from preoperative to postoperative phases. Key responsibilities include preparing patients' care areas, administering medications and IV therapy as prescribed, conducting physical and psychological assessments, and monitoring patients' conditions.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Associate Degree in Nursing or higher degree required
  • At least 1 year of nursing experience in a clinical setting, preferably in PACU, ICU, or Surgery
  • Active RN license as required by state of employment
  • BCLS Certification upon employment
  • ACLS required within 30 days of hire
