Ambulatory Surgical Center Certified Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to join our team at USPI Medical Park Tower Surgery Center. With 5 OR rooms, we perform outpatient surgical procedures in General, Ophthalmology, Orthopedic, and Urology.
The ideal candidate will be available Monday through Friday, with a schedule subject to change based on the surgical schedule and flow of the day. This may include some early mornings and later evenings. The position requires weekdays only, with no holidays, weekends, or call.
The successful candidate will work under the direct supervision of the Director of Nursing, scrubbing for surgical procedures and demonstrating competence as a member of the surgical team. They will prepare and maintain supplies, instruments, and equipment related to these procedures, supporting the philosophy, objectives, and goals of the Surgery Center.
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent;
- Completion of an appropriate surgical technician program or at least two years of previous experience in a similar role;
- A certification within 90 days of hire;
- Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center is strongly preferred;
- A strong knowledge of surgical procedures and patient management;
- An understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation;
- The ability to adapt quickly to changing patient conditions when needed;
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with staff, patients, and physicians.
